From a conversation with  couple of people who were explaining what the Hunger Games was about as well as a few individuals who joined in on the conversation and did not fully understand what it about was about I learned this from them:

"The Hunger Games involves a bunch of poor people who have to kill each other to get food to survive, but their survival is not dependent upon their winning of the game for they all survive regardless of winning or losing. Although they are poor they all have very expensive thrones in which they do not sell for food but are constantly engaged in intercourse sometimes with individuals they are related too. A final point that was made was that the main character's names in The Hunger Games combined sound like penis, or Peeniss I suppose."

High school kids are so mature, it was also later realized that I was being told about the Game of Thrones as well as The Hunger Games simultaneously, and some how no one noticed that two stories were being talked of at the time of the telling.
