I saw this video today from Japan making fun of our intensive TSA screening and the results that seem to arise from the screening process people are subjected to, there seems to be countless videos online about screenings going awry.

TSA screenings and methods used such as full body xray scans seem like complete overkill apart from one thing..

If my understanding is correct these could very easily pass right through a metal detector being these have no metal in them, while posessing 10 times the tensile strength of steel. A full body XRAY scan would be able to pick up objects metal only detectors would otherwise be unable to do.
